If you want to think outside the pots & boxes, Pot & Box Flower Landscaping would love to help you spruce up your garden areas with plants, flowers, and edibles. Whether designing and installing brand new plantings, rehabilitating overgrown, neglected gardens, or putting a spot of color into your existing beds, we can do it--or help you do it! If you just need a hand getting through your garden to-do list, we can assist with any and all of your garden chores, and share our garden tricks while we work. If you would enjoy having a cutting garden for fresh flowers through the summer, we can plan and execute it for you. It may be that you are interested in growing herbs & vegetables, but aren't sure where to begin. We can design, install, maintain, and even harvest your herbs and veggies. If you are into full-service, Pot & Box Flower Landscaping will stop over in the spring to clean-up your perennial beds and plant spring annuals. In early summer we'll install irrigation, new perennials, and summer annuals, then clean up in the fall, winterizing your gardens.

As with all of our services, when we purchase plants and products for your garden, we try to source as much as we can locally and with ethically- and ecologically-responsible suppliers. Pot & Box Flower Landscaping purchases most of our plant material at farmers' markets in Ann Arbor, and all of our tools, fertilizers, and plant healthcare products at local nurseries. We also recycle as much of our generated waste as possible--including black plastic pots and flats--and compost all of our garden clippings, both of which we encourage and assist our clients to do as well. When we maintain your flower gardens, we use products that are friendly to kids, pets, and the environment. We fertilize with all-natural and organic products, and do so to grow healthy plants that are more pest- and disease-resisitant. But if hungry creatures, bad bugs, or undesirable bacteria do appear, we treat minimally, and with the least-toxic solution we can. Often the product we apply comes from ingredients found in most kitchens.
