my gardening life began with the innocent question, "what's a geranium?" and i've been inquiring about plants ever since. my love of gardening grew while living in the pacific northwest and hawaii, but it was during my travels i realized i'd rather be hardy in zone 5b than a transplant in the tropics of zone 12. rooted by my education in horticulture, my fingernails have been dirty for over fifteen years through service and retail experience, including founding and managing a flower landscaping business in northern michigan. as the owner and manager of pot & box, my goal is to bring color and life to ann arbor with stunningly-beautiful, ethically-sourced and responsibly-serviced fresh flowers and interesting plants.
